Respiratory Infections/Bronchiectasis
Repeated chest infections can occur as a result of undertreated or undiagnosed respiratory conditions such as asthma and COPD.

Repeated respiratory infections occuring over a long period can be as a result of a condition called bronchiectasis.In bronchiectasis airways become widened and collect mucus.
Problems with the immune system can also cause repeated infections.
