General (or internal) medicine refers to the diagnosis and treatment and care of adults with disease. It often involves solving puzzling diagnostic problems, situations where symptoms may not have an obvious cause. In many cases it involves dealing with several chronic disease that are causing problems at the same time. It sometimes involves coordinating care with other specialists.
Dr Vardill is happy to see patients with general medical problems. It is useful to discuss this with your GP to establish whether a referral is appropriate for your needs.
